Sacramento, Calif. – The Tamika Hamilton for Congress Campaign today announced its fundraising figures from the latest Federal Election Commission (FEC) filing period, raising $107,481.77 in the 1st Quarter of 2022 and bringing her total raised to nearly $650,546.11 from over 12,000 donors. Hamilton, an Air Force Sergeant and candidate for California’s Sixth (6th) Congressional District, issued the following statement:

"The outpouring of support I have received from the residents of this district, this city and across the nation is both humbling and reassuring, and is tangible proof that our campaign is gaining momentum and support. It is becoming clearer to the voters every day that I am the only candidate with the record and the resources to defeat Ami Bera in November."

Hamilton also had strong showings in her last two fundraising quarters, raising $217,725 and $198,886 in Q3 and Q4 2021, respectively. As the strongest Republican candidate in the race, Hamilton, who has been endorsed by the California Republican Party, the Sacramento County Republican Central Committee, and the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association Political Action Committee, has consistently outraised her GOP opponents by significant margins in every fundraising period.
